Where the speed comes from

Suppliers are vetted once, then scored on every order for conformity, lead time and responsiveness. RFQs go only to vendors already proven for that equipment make and region.

Quality control before dispatch
Checking the consignment against the PO, OEM references and certificates before it moves prevents the slowest failure of all: a return and re-order after the vessel has sailed.

Requisition
Vessel or superintendent raises the requisition in VSMPS, with drawings, part numbers, and required-by port and date.
Curated RFQ
The request is matched to vetted suppliers for that equipment make and region. ML-assisted quotation matching flags equivalents and lead-time risk.
Compare & Approve
Quotations are compared on price, lead time, landed cost and emissions. Approval, budget checks and the purchase order happen in the same screen.
Quality Control
Parts are inspected against the PO, certificates and packing spec before dispatch. Deviations are flagged with photographs before anything moves.
Deliver & Track
Consolidated shipment to the agent or directly onboard, with live tracking, customs paperwork, and e-invoicing matched to the PO.
Scope 3 Report
Origin, destination, mode, weight and consolidation are recorded per order and converted into a Scope 3 emissions figure for your fleet inventory.

Scope 3 emissions on every purchase order
Purchased goods and upstream transport are Scope 3 categories under the GHG Protocol, and CSRD reporters are now expected to disclose them under ESRS E1. Most fleets estimate this from spend. VSMPS measures it from the order itself.
